Quantock Brewery is a new venture started by two ex-landlords, Rob Rainey and Ken Oxley, who had both previously been keen home-brewers. This South West brewery is located in West Somerset and takes its name after the Quantock Hills which was the first area in England to be designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The brewery itself is an 8 barrel plant installed by Porter Brewing Company Ltd. The beers are produced using traditional craft brewing methods using only the finest floor malted barley, coloured malts and whole hops.
Quantock Brewery has been established to brew fine quality ales using traditional craft brewing methods. Each recipe is hand crafted by the Head Brewer to give a unique style to each of the beers, designed to give the maximum drinking satisfaction.
